Our environmental approach is one of waste reduction, sustainability, and recyclability/biodegradability. All of our CupL™ substrates are recyclable, and two are fully biodegradable. We focus on both pre-consumer impact and post-consumer impact, and our form factor reduces waste significantly (1,000 CupLs™ fit into 4 small boxes, whereas 1,000 pulp paper trays take up a few pallets, cost more to ship, and have a greater carbon footprint.)
PLUS, status quo pulp paper trays are often NOT recyclable OR biodegradable. The CupL™ is printed on three different substrate options, each with its own unique look and environmental characteristics.
